The Day Reporting Center serves youth ages 12 to 17 from Valencia county or youth who typically attend school within Valencia county, but are long term suspended, expelled, or out of school due to behavioral health concerns. The DRC's focused on bringing resources to the youth, re-engaging youth in school, connecting youth and behavioral health services, and providing mentoring classes to help decrease future system contact. The DRC staff work in close contact with juvenile probation, schools, and CYFD, with a daily attendance and regular reports.
