All mentoring programs are for youth ages 10 - 17 unless otherwise stated.
Young Entrepreneurs
Young entrepreneurs is a best-practice model. It's a mentoring program for young aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs to learn career skills, the trades, art forms, and explore options for their futures.
Unity Circle - PRIDE
PRIDE is a space beyond the gender binary that responds to the needs and strengths of LGBTQIA+ communities, gender diverse and gender non-conforming youth, and black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) populations, and allies. It promotes an emotionally safe and brave setting and structure in which all youth and dash or adults can develop supportive and healthy connections.
All Together Rising
All Together Rising is a mentoring program specifically built to engage in in-depth sessions that address 8 familiar but adverse conditions affecting many youths. This design is a trauma-responsive supplemental sessions to implement individuality within any one circle program, this collection serves as a go-to-resource for specific topics offering enhanced awareness, support, and tools for youth.
La Mariposa
La Mariposa is a personal empowerment program for adolescent Latinas. This program engages girls in 12 interactive workshop sessions where facilitators teach personal empowerment skills (JARS – Journaling, Affirmations, Personal Rules and Setting Goals). Girls will learn about the power within and the ways in which they can lead the direction of their lives, in addition to valuable skills to assist girls in exploring the impact of the values, norms and beliefs that shape them, especially those that present barriers. This guide specifically addresses the challenges with assimilating to a dual-cultured life and reinforces a sense of pride and connection with Latina culture. All workshops are facilitated in a relational, strength spaced, trauma informed and culturally competent matter.
Mother and Daughter Circle
Mothers or female caregivers and their daughters joined together in a combined and age-appropriate groups to strengthen their bonds through shared listening, creative expression, and social building. “Heart of the Matter” promotes empathy, communication skills, stress reduction, setting limits and honoring boundaries, exploring meanings and messages about female identity, identifying relationship accountability, and experiencing affirmation together within their broader female community.
Dating in the Digital Age
Dating in the digital age is a guide to talking with teens about sexting. It is a supplemental curriculum with essential tools and resources to provide healthy development for young youth growing up in today's digital world. Providing skills development for media literacy, digital citizenship, and relationship safety information, this curriculum harnesses the relational strengths of youth to effectively explore the complex intersecting topics of technology, sexuality, and relationships.
Girl's Circle
Girl's circle is a best-practice model. Girl circle contains gender specific topics to target body image, healthy relationships, safe sex, anti-bullying, and accepting diversity. This program targets preteen and adolescent girls and young women of all races and ethnicities, and youth who identify with female adolescent development 10 to 17 years, regardless of risk level. The program offers positive female mentoring as well.
Boy's Council
Boys council is a best-practice model. The council targets youth of all races and ethnicities, those struggling with aggression, risky behaviors, marginalized youth having negative contact within social systems, and those with negative peer relations. This program targets preteens and adolescent boys and young men and youth who identify with male adolescent development 10 to 17 years, regardless of risk level. The program also offers positive male mentoring
Botvin LifeSkills
The Botvin Lifeskills training is a research-validated substance abuse prevention program proven to reduce the risks of alcohol, tobacco, drug use, and violence by targeting the major social and psychological factors that promote the initiation of substance use and other risky behaviors. This comprehensive and exciting program provides adolescents and young teens with the confidence and skills necessary to successfully handle challenging situations.
Mindful Youth
Mindful Youth is a best-practice model that focuses on social emotional learning. Through positive, small group mentorship, mindful youth teaches youth ages 8 to 17 valuable lessons in self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and reasonable decision making while change need the lens on giving back to their community.
